     Jacob Detweiler was born circa 1711.1 He was the son of Hans Detweiler and Susanna (?) Jacob Detweiler married Neltgen Kolb, daughter of Rev. Martin Kolb and Maria Magdalena Van Sintern, on 25 July 1738.2,1 Jacob Detweiler received 178 acres of land in Bedminister Township, now Plumstead Township, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, from his father Hans Detweiler in 1742.1 Jacob Detweiler lived in 1747, 1750 and in 1785 in Franconia Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.1 He died on 1 September 1786 in Franconia Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.1
