     Samuel Meyer was born circa 1711 in Langenzell, Baden, Germany.1 He was the son of Christian Meyer and Barbara (?) Samuel Meyer immigrated with his parents Christian Meyer and Barbara (?) circa 1717 to Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.2,3 Samuel Meyer married Barbara (?) Samuel Meyer and Barbara lived in Franconia Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.4 Samuel Meyer was taxed on 50 acres of land in 1734 in Lower Salford Township, Philadelphia County, now Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.1 He received 50 acres of land from his father Christian Meyer in November 1741.1 Samuel Meyer left a will on 10 August 1764. He left all of his personal estate to his loving wife Barbara, as well as his plantaion of 50 acres. He states he has no children, and that he is blind. He names his wife as his executrix. He left 2 pounds each to his sister Elizabeth, his brother Christian and his cousin Christian Meyer. Witnesses were Nicholas Haldeman Jr., Jacob Landis and Andrew Ziegler.5,4 Samuel Meyer died in 1766 in Lower Salford Township, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.1 His estate was probated on 9 December 1766 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.5,4

He was named the executor under the Will of Bishop Heinrich Funck on 13 June 1759 in Franconia Township, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.4,5 John Funck was a Mennonite.6 He lived in Hilltown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.6,7 He was a blacksmith and a farmer.6,7 He left a will on 13 August 1807.7 He died in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.6,7 His estate was probated on 17 October 1807 in Doylestown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.7
