     Henry Cassel was born on 9 April 1726.1,2 He was the son of Hubert Cassel and Sytge Updegrave. Henry Cassel married Margaret Godshall, daughter of Godshalk Hermans Godshalk and Eva Custer. His property was damaged during the Revolutionary War. A document regarding the damage reads as follows:
Estimate of damage on the plantation of Henry Cassel, by the army under the command of His Excellency, General Washington, between the 7th and 16th inst.
696 Fence Rails, @ 25c a piece . . . . . . 8pounds.14s.
We, whose names are undersigned, at the request and desire of Henry Cassel, have taken a strict and careful survey of the damage done to his plantation, and to the best of our knowledge and judgment believe the same to amount to eight pounds and fourteen shillings, current Pennsylvania money of Pennsylvania, and we are ready to qualify unto when called upon.
Given under our hands on said plantation in Towamensing township this 23d October, 1777.

The above referenced document was in the hands of Henry Cassel's great-grandson, Jacob H. Cassel, in 1896.3 Henry Cassel died in 1797 in Towamencin Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, at age 70 years.2 He left a will on 17 May 1797.4 His estate was probated on 14 August 1797 in Norristown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.5

Abraham Cassel married Fiega Grimley.3 Abraham Cassel left a will on 18 January 1776.4 He died on 15 February 1776 in Upper Salford Township, Philadelphia County, now Montgomery County, Pennsylvania at age 47 years, 6 months and 13 days.1 He was buried in Lower Skippack Mennonite Meeting-house Cemetery, Lower Skippack Township, Philadelphia County, now Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.1 His estate was probated on 15 March 1776 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.4
