     Christian Meyer was born circa 1672.1 He was the son of Jacob Meyer. Christian Meyer married Barbara (?) Christian Meyer and Barbara lived in 1717 in Langenzell, Baden, Germany.1 Christian Meyer and Barbara (?) arrived in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, circa 1717 from either Amsterdam or from Langenzell, Baden, Germany, possibly by way of Amsterdam. A J Fretz states the date that he arrived was unknown but that he might have arrived around 1700. That date is known to be too early.1,2 Christian Meyer purchased from David Powell 150 acres of land in Lower Salford Township, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, on 30 December 1718.1 He was taxed on 100 acres of real estate in 1734 in Salford Township, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.1 He transferred 50 acres of land to his son Samuel Meyer in November 1741.3 Christian Meyer sold 150 acres of land in Salford Township, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, to his grandson Christian Meyer on 29 December 1748. The land was next to that of the late John Meyer.1 Christian Meyer left a will on 18 January 1748/49.4,1 The transcript of the Will read:
Be it known unto all whom it may concern that I Christian Moyer(*) of Franconia in the County of Philadelphia Yoeman being aged & infirm of Body nevertheless through mercy my memory and understanding is sound and perfect and considering the uncertainty of human life do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament this Eighteenth day of January In the year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and forty eight.

Imprime (???) I will and direct that all the Just debts which I shall owe at the time of my decease Together with my Funeral Charges be duly and faithfully paid & Discharged by my Executors here on named ibid I give and bequeath unto my Son Christian Moyer the sum of three Pounds lawful money of Pennsylvania Payable to him out of my Estate within one year next from the day of my decease ibid I give & bequeath unto my son Jacob Moyer the Sum of Three Pounds money as aforesaid payable within one year next from the Day of my Decease ibid I give & bequeath unto my son Samuel Moyer the sum Three Pounds money as abovesaid payable within one year next from the day of my decease ibid I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth Oblinger now wife of Nichola Oblinger the Sum of Three Pounds Money as abovesaid pay able within one year next from the day
of my decease ibid give and bequeath two Pounds money as abovesaid payable within one year next from the day of my decease and to be disposed of as my Executors shall think best for the use of the Poor belonging to the Mennonite meetings of Salford & Franconia Township and County of Philadelphia ibid I give and Bequeath to my Granddaughter Ester Funck the Sum of Three Pounds money as aboves'd payable to her within one year next from the Day of my decease ibid I give & bequeath all the remaining part of my Estate (that is to say) whatsoever that I and the proper owner of at the time of my decease (after my debt?? Legacies and Funeral Expenses is first deducted and paid i?? manner aforesaid) to my Three children viz. the said Christian Moyer. Anna Funk (now wife Henry Funk) Barbara Rei?? (now wife of Abraham Reiff) to be Equally divided between them (that is to say) Each and Every one of them my las?? mentioned Children to have share and share alike Provide?? they and every one of them their Heirs, Executors Administrators Shall and will from Time to time & at all Times from the day of the date hereof well and truly equally Procure and Provide to and for my son the said Jacob Moyer Sufficient meat Drink apparel washing and Lodging fit and convenient fo?? him during his natural life which said Legacies they the sai?? Christian Moyer Anna Funck and Barbara Reiff shall on th?? above Provisor have and Enjoy from the day of my deceas?? thence forward and for Ever and I do hereby constitute an??      Deacon Christian Meyer Jr. was born circa 1705 in Langenzell, Baden, Germany.1,2 He was the son of Christian Meyer and Barbara (?) Christian immigrated with his parents Christian Meyer and Barbara (?) circa 1717 to Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.3,4 Deacon Christian Meyer Jr. married Magdalena (?) Deacon Christian Meyer Jr. and Magdalena were Mennonites.5 Deacon Christian Meyer Jr. was a Mennonite clergyman.6 He and Magdalena lived in Franconia Township, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.7 In 1734 his name was also recorded as Christian Myor.8 Deacon Christian Meyer Jr. left a will on 26 April 1782.9,7 The transcript of the Will read:
In the name of God amen.
I Christian Moyer of the Township of Franconia in the County of Philadelphia Yeoman, being aged and infirm of Body but of sound mind and memory thanks be to God do this twenty fiveth Day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred And eighty two make and publish this my last Will and Testament in Manner and form as follows.
Imprimis I comend my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God who gave it unto me, and my Body to the Earth to be decently and in a Christian like manner buried at the Discretion of my Executor herein after named, in hopes of a joy ful Resurection thro' the Merits of my Saviour Jesus Christ. And as for the worldly Goods and temporal Eftate wherewith it hath pleased God to blefs me, I dispose thereof as follows, that is to say: First is my Will that my just Debts and funeral Expenses shall be paid and satisfied.
Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Magdalena Mayer the Sum of one hundred & twenty five Pounds (in Gold or Silver, to be paid unto her by my Executors out of the first Money that comes into their Hands from my Eftate, and also our Feather Bed and Bedftead, with all the furniture thereunto belonging, and her Chest with all what is in it, and one Milch Cow to chuse which she pleases in Lien of her Dower.

Item I give to the Congregation to which I belong the Sum of ten Pounds, to be distributed by the Elders thereof to the Poor and needy of the fame. Item I give unto Phillip Lauterbach the Sum of five pounds, all which Legacies I order to be paid in Gold and Silver in the following Manner that is to say, a golden half Johannes weighing nine pennyweight, to be paid and received for three Pounds & a milled spanish Dollar for feven shillings and fix Pence, and all other Gold and filver Coin in the fame Proportion.
Item I give and devise unto my son Samuel Mayer all my Tract of Land fituate and being in the Township of Franconia aforesaid and is bounded by Lands of Henry Rosenberger, John Freed Martin Detweiler George Delp and others, containing one hundred and feventy Acres be the fame more or lefs, to have and to hold the aforesaid Tract of one hundred and feventy acres, of Land, together with the Hereditaments and Appurtenances thereunto belonging (together with my two Copper Stills) unto my said son Samuel Mayer his Heirs and Assigns forever, Under this express Limitation, that my said son Samuel Mayer or his Heirs or Afsigns, shall pay or cause to be well and truly paid for the Said Tract of Land, the sum of eight hundred Pounds in Gold or Silver Money (at the following rate vizt a golden half Johannes weighing nine Pennyweights to be paid for three Pounds and a milled Spanish Dollar for feven shillings and fix pence and all other Gold & Silver Coin in the fame proportion) In the following manner that is to say, the Sum of feventy five Pounds as the first payment thereof at the End of one year after my Decease, and the Sum of seventy five Pounds in every year following until the whole Sum is paid. And whereas I have heretofore given and paid unto each of my Sons and Daughters Goods and Chattles and Sums of Money, a true Account whereof I have entered into a Book, therefore is my Will and do ordain and direct, because fome have received more than others, that those or their Heirs that received lefs than others shall first receive Goods or Money to the Value of so much, until they all have equal Shares one as much as the other. And further is my Will that all my Goods and Chattles not herein before mentioned to be given and bequeathed, and the said Sum of eight hundred Pounds, which my son Samuel is herein ordered to pay for the herein before devised Tract of Land (after my just Debts and the afore mentioned Legacies are all paid) shall be equally divided & paid, first to all the Children of my eldest son Christion Mayer deceased, one full & feventh Part thereof to be also equally divided to them all; And then to all the Children, and Margareth my great Grand Daughter (only child of his Son Jacob also deceased) of my son Jacob Mayer deceased one full feventh Part thereof, also to be equally divided to them all, And to my Son Samuel one full and equal feventh Part thereof. And my Sons in Law John Kratz, Abraham Krotz & Martin Detweiler to each one full & equal feventh Part thereof. And also one full and equal Seventh Part thereof to the Children of my Daughter Esther Gehman (late Wife of Christian Gehman) deceased, to be paid into the Hands of their Father who is to have the fame in his use until their Marriages, or respective lawful Ages, also to be equally divided to them share & share alike, which said feveral shares I order to be paid in the following manner, first to my Sons or their Heirs according to their Seniority and after my sons or their Heirs have received their full Shares, then the same Order and Rule to be observed with my Sons in Law or the Heirs of my Daughters, every one to Receive their shares according to their Seniority. And I do hereby nominate and appoint my Son Samuel Mayer, and my Son in Law Abraham Krotz to be Executors of this my last Will & Testament, and I do hereby revoke all other or any former Will or Wills by me heretofore made.

Personally came Isaac Dorftone & Abraham Stout and affirmed that they were present & Saw Christian Mayer the Testator in the foregoing Will named fign & seal the same & did hear him publish pronounce & declare the fame to be his last Will & Testamt and that at the Doing thereof he was of sound Mind Memory & Understanding as far as they...verily believed, & that they figned their Names as Witnefses thereto in the presence of the Testator & in the Presence of each other---
Be it Remembered that on the 31st Day of May AD 1787 the foregoing Will of Christian Mayer was proved in due form & probate with Letters Testamentory granted unto Samuel Mayer & Abraham Krotz the Executors therein named they having first duely affirmed that they wil well & truly perform the fame and render an Account according to Law. Given under the Hand & Seal of Office this 31st May AD 1787.
Recorded 31st May 1787. R Mullebergh Reg. He died circa 1787.10 His estate was probated on 31 May 1787 in Norristown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.9,11

     Abraham Funck was born on 21 November 1734 in Franconia Township, Philadelphia County, now Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.2,3,4 He was the son of Bishop Heinrich Funck and Anna Meyer. Abraham Funck was also known as Abraham Funk. He married Mary Landis, daughter of Jacob Landis, on 19 January 1758.5,6,7 Abraham Funck sold the remaining portion of it, being a mill and 63 acres to Christian Funck in 1763. From his brother Christian Funck purchased the remaining portion of it, being a mill and 63 acres in 1763. From his brother.8 Abraham Funck and Mary were Mennonites.5 Abraham Funck and Mary lived in Springfield Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.9,5,10 Abraham Funck died on 16 April 1788 in Springfield Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, at age 53 years, 4 months and 26 days.2,11
