Know all men by these Presents, That We
George Christman, George Ralston and Samuel Stauffer all of Chester County---
are held and bound unto the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the sum of one thousand Eight hundred & twenty /&C---dollars to be paid to the said commonwealth; to which payment, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves jointly and severally, forand in whole, our Heirs, Executors and Administrators, firmly by these presents.

SEALED with our SRALS, dated the Twentyfourth day of February---in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty.one

The conditions of this Obligation are such, That if the above bounden George Christman, Administrator of all and singular, the goods, chattels, and credits of John Stauffer late of the township of West Vincent in said county, deceased, do make or cause to be made, a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits, of the said deceased, which have come or shall come to the hands, possession, or knowledge of the said George Christman or into the hands and possession of any other person or persons for him and the same be so made, do exhibit or cause to be exhibited into the Register's Office in the county of Chester, within thirty days of the date hereof, and the same goods, chattels, and credits, and all other the goods, chattels, and credits of the said deceased at the time of his death, which at any time after, shall come into the hands or possession of the said George Christman or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him do well and truly administer according to law. And further do make or cause to be made, a true and just account of his said administration, within one year from the date hereof, or when thereunto legally required; and all the rest and residue of the said goods, chattels, and credits, which shall be found remaining upon the said Administration account, (the same being first examinied and allowed by the Orphan's Court of the county having jurisdiction) shall deliver and pay unto such person or persons as the said Orphan's Court by their decree or sentence, pursuant to law, shall limit and appoint; and shall well and truly comply with the laws of this commonwealth relating to collateral inheritances. And if it shall hereafter appear, that any Last Will and Testament was made by the said deceased, and the same shall be proved according to law, if the said George Christman being thereunto required, do surrender the said Letters of Administration into the Register's Office aforesaid, then this obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force .

Know all men by these presents That I, Deborah Stoufer of the Township of West vincent in the County of Chester and State of Pennsylvania Widow of John Stoufer late f the same deceased. have renounced released and quit claimed and by these presents do renounce release and quit claim all my right and title to the administrationship and to the administration of the goods and chattels rights and credits whatsoever which were of the said decd. and desire that the same committed to George Christman of the Township of East vincent and county aforesaid. In Witnefs whereof I have hereunto set my hand &seal this 24th day of February AD One thousand eight hundred and forty one 1841.
