He had a very nice hand, heavy but clear and distinct. He was followed as sessions clerk by Chas. Ogg, whose hand was lighter, clear but not as beautiful. There are two page numbers recorded with this source. The lower number, added when it was being recorded, is the number page from the beginning of the section of this book, begun in 1803, here cited. The larger number is the number of pages, added later, from the beginning of the Register in 1682, microfilm 0993308, Family History Library, Salt Lake City, Utah.
