     Hans George Bachmann was baptized on 2 May 1686 in Richterswil, Canton of Zürich, Switzerland. He married Anna Maria Schnebelli in 1715 probably at the Ibersheimerhof, Worms, Germany.1 Hans George Bachmann died on 19 November 1753 in Upper Saucon Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, at age 67 years, 6 months and 17 days. He was buried in Saucon Mennonite Cemetery, Coopersburg, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.1 He left a will on 15 October 1753.2 The transcript of the Will read:
In the Name of God Amen. I, George Bachman of upper Saucon in the County of Northampton in the Province of Pennsylvania yeoman being weak in body but of Sound Memory (blessed be God) do this day the fifteenth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred & fifty three make & publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say
Imprimis. It is my Will and I do Order that in the first place all my just debts & funeral Charges be paid and Satisfied.
Item. I give unto Anna Marie my Dearly beloved Wife all the possession of my real and personal Estate during her Natural life and I have Distributed my Lands & Money to each of my Children of them that are of age & married as in this annexed paper to be seen and the Minors are to have that is my three Sons Namely John Bachman, Samuel & Abraham Bachman each of them shall have a place to live on for them and their Heirs & assigns after they come to the age of Twenty one years and I give my wife full power and Authority to Distribute these three places amongst these my three Sons and Nominate to each of them which place he shall have except him that shall have ye place where I lives on now he shall pay one hundred & fifty pounds Current Lawful money of this Province to be paid to the Rest of my Children and I Give unto my well beloved Daughter Susanna as much as I gave to the rest of my Daughters Equally with them. Ninety Pounds lawfull Money as abovesaid when she comes to the age of Eighteen Years and if she is to be married under said age with the Consent & Will of her Mother she is to receive said Ninety Pounds at marriage and it is my Will that after my and my Wife's decease my Children with the help of my overseers of my Estate and Last Will & Testament that they shall equally Divide all what there shall be left of my Estate after my Wife's decease amongst my Children share and share alike the Youngest and the Oldest equally alike.
I Give to my Wife Annas Marie Backler and I make and ordain her my said Wife Sole Executrix of this my last Will & Testament in trust for the intents and purposes in this my Will contained and I make my loving Son Henry Bachman and my friends Abram Clemens and John Joeder Junr. overseers of this my last Will & Testament to take Care and see the same performed according to my true Intent and meaning of this my Will and Testament I do impower and authorise my Wife Anna Marie Bachman and the Three Nominated overseers to Give and Grant Deed or Deeds of Covayence to each of them or either of them that is of age or are to come of age as Actually if it was done from or under my Hand notwithstanding this my last Will and Testament which I actually Nominate my last Will & Testament and with the presence of my Children and therefore I do take and shall be Taken by my Executrix and overseers if any of my Children shall object against this my last Will and Testament shall be deemed a Disobedient Child & the above Nominated remaining part of my Estate shall not be sold by way of vandue but amiably be divided amongst my Children as abovesaid. I Give & bequeath unto thee poor of our Congregation the sum of fifteen pounds of good & Lawfull Monies to be raised and levied out of my Estate as a Legacy and to be paid unto the Wardens thereof.
In Witness whereof I the said George Bachman have to this my last Will and Testament set my Hand and Seal the day and year above written

Philada. 29th May 1754. Personally Appeared Jacob Musselman and George Acherman two of the Witnesses to the foregoing Will on their Solemn Affirmation according to Law did Declare they saw and heard George Bachman the Testator therein named Sign Seal Publish and Declare the same Will for & as his last Will and Testament and that at the doing thereof he was of Sound Mind, Memory & Understanding to the best of their knowledge.

Be it Remembered that on the 29th day of May 1754 The last Will and Testament of George Bachman Deced in due form of Law was proved & probate & Letters Testamentary were granted to Anna Marie Bachman sole Executrix in the said Will named being first Solemnly affirmed well and truly To administer the Deced. Estate and bring an Inventory thereof into the Reg. Genl. Office at Philada. at or before the 29th day of June next and render a true account when required. Given under the Seal of the said Office
Wm Plumstead, Reg. Genl. His estate was probated on 29 May 1754 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.3

     Anna Maria Schnebelli was born on 12 April 1698 in Ibersheim, Worms, Rhineland-Pfalz, Germany. She married Hans George Bachmann in 1715 probably at the Ibersheimerhof, Worms, Germany.1 As of 1715, her married name was Bachmann.1 Anna Maria Schnebelli died on 4 November 1776 in Upper Saucon Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, at age 78 years, 6 months and 23 days. She was buried in Saucon Mennonite Cemetery, in Upper Saucon Township, which is now in Coopersburg, Northampton County, now Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.2
